How Scout Makes Money.
Some retailer links are affiliate links. If you follow one and make a qualifying purchase, Scout may earn a commission — usually without changing the price you pay.
Eligible purchases can support the running of the site.
Commission is not supposed to buy a better price ranking.
Retailer Links Can Be Tracked
When you click certain retailer links, the destination may contain an affiliate identifier. If you later buy something, the retailer or affiliate network may attribute that purchase to 3DPrintScout and pay us a commission.
Normally Nothing Extra
Using an affiliate link does not normally increase the retailer price. Sometimes an affiliate link may also point to a promotion or discount. The retailer’s checkout page is always the final authority on price and terms.
Price Signals Before Commission
Scout is designed to compare active offers and product information. We do not intentionally promote a worse-value offer simply because its affiliate arrangement pays more.
Not Every Shop Is Included
Affiliate availability can influence which retailer feeds are technically available to Scout, so the site may not cover every retailer in the market. We aim to make tracked retailer coverage clear rather than pretending it is universal.
